The selections in this portfolio are archival pigment ink prints on mulberry-based Unryu and Kozo papers, which have been immersed in clear encaustic medium. The intention behind these works on paper—close-ups of ferns, leaves, and other natural elements—is to capture a sense of the primeval beauty that quietly continues to weave its way through nature, as if by some timeless magic.
